My experience with Dr. Krakovsky and his staff has changed me forever. I had come to a point in my life where I had to make a decision. I was unhappy with the way I looked and it reflected on my relationships with women. I had done lots of research about plastic surgery. I spent a good 8 months thinking about it. My phalloplasty results with Enlargement Plus Medical and Dr. Krakovsky have been amazing. Not only am I larger in the flaccid state, but my erections are significantly larger too. I had a lot of emotional wounding around my penis, and now the emotional wounds are gone. My Kaiser Permanente primary care physician was not in favor of this surgery for me, nor did she agree with my reasons for having phalloplasty. However, I proceeded with the surgery anyway and I am super glad that I did. For me, the monetary cost was worth it.
I researched phalloplasty procedures for 6 months before I decided to go the AlloDerm route. I wanted to have a procedure that was permanent, and did not require any maintenance later on in my life. Therefore, I rejected (for myself) phalloplasty through the transference of fat. I was worried that I would need another round of transference of fat in the future, and I was not interested in having to be concerned about this potentiality. I researched AlloDerm thoroughly and decided that it was safe. (They use AlloDerm in everything these days ... including "nose jobs").
I received triple augmentation from Dr. Krakovsky (lengthening, widening, and glanular enhancement). The three surgical procedures were performed with excellence in less than three hours. I could not believe this. But I honestly had zero pain on the same day as the surgery and no pain from this surgery ever. I had a whole bottle of Vicodin with me in San Diego and I never had to use a single capsule. I went for a cheeseburger and fries that night.
I liked the staff at the plastic surgery site in San Diego a lot! I felt well taken care of and that I was in good hands. I wanted Dr. Krakovsky to perform the surgery, because I figured if he used to be a cardiac surgeon, then phalloplasty surgery would be a breeze for him! Emotionally being able to walk into a locker room and know that even if it is a cold day I will still be one of the largest in there, is a pretty good feeling. Just that in itself was worth the procedure. What was priceless was to see the reaction my girlfriend had the first time we had intercourse. It is funny how women say that they are perfectly happy with the way you look and feel, but to see the difference between what I was before the surgery and what I am now with the same woman is night and day. I went from being average in size to being very large, and I can really say that size does matter. My girlfriend finally admits that is a true statement. Finally, I just wanted to thank you again for everything and tell you that you are an amazing person and surgeon.

My surgery experience was far from typical. After a successful initial triple augmentation operation, I unfortunately developed an infection about 5 weeks into the post-op recovery. Now, you can tell this testimonial is not made up because no one would ever talk about infection in a made-up testimonial. The infection was the result of a suture that popped open because I did not take care of controlling my erections. This is what happens when you think you are all healed up when in fact you are not. The suture popping open itself wasn't a big deal, but I was unlucky enough to have some infectious bacteria get inside through that opening.
The entire experience was a very trying one. Sometimes I questioned why I went through with the surgery in the first place. Luckily for me, Dr. Krakovsky was there with me every step of the way. Because my infection turned out to be fairly serious, I flew back out to have a 2nd surgical intervention with Dr. Krakovsky. Through the use of state of the art techniques, Dr. Krakovsky was able to successfully remove the infection in its entirety while still preserving the dermal graft. Aside from the pure surgical skill necessary to perform such a procedure, Dr. Krakovsky also has the right set of emotional tools to help deal with the situation. He was very responsive to my (sometimes irrational) concerns and questions and offered the right set of "big picture" guidance to help deal with an extremely tough situation. The guy really does care, and it is very hard to fake that.
After the 2nd surgery, the infection was cleared and everything healed up again within a couple of months. Now everything is pretty much back to normal, and I am enjoying life now. The ultimate take-away from my situation is the following: (1) Follow doctor's orders and do not get ahead of yourself when it comes to post-op recovery. (2) Even when things do go wrong (or severely wrong as in my case), Dr. Krakovsky is so skilled that he will probably be able to diagnose and remedy the situation accordingly. From what I gather, the chance of infection is a rare one, but as is the case with all surgeries, there is still a chance. Most people who undergo this surgery don't seem to get infection. Unfortunately for me, I was one of the unlucky ones. Fortunately for me, I chose a doctor that could handle the situation.

I came to you seeking complete reconstruction from a failed dual augmentation surgery that I had done five years ago by another doctor. Considering a second surgery was a very emotional decision, but I knew I was in good hands when our initial consultation started with your words "please let me hear your story." I am pleased to be writing this testimony on behalf of my boyfriend's penile surgery experience with Dr. Krakovsky. I have been with my boyfriend for several years and he always talked about having surgery to make his penis longer and bigger, even though I was happy with him just the way he was, he was pretty persistent on wanting it done.
Seeing that he was serious about it, I decided to do the research about phallosplasty and find out all the information. Overall, my intentions were to find the best candidate for the procedure. As I searched the internet there were many people claiming that they were the best, then I came across Dr. Krakovsky, it's almost like I knew immediately that he was going to be the one to do the surgery. His qualifications far surpassed the rest, and when I called he was very attentive and explained everything about the process of the procedure. Everything was going well as he went through his post surgery process, we made sure we followed the Doctors instructions and my boyfriend did his part as well, to make sure he did not have any complications. Overall, my boyfriend's surgery was a complete success and is now considering a second procedure with Dr. Krakovsky to make it even thicker!!! As for me, I couldn't be more happy with my boyfriends results from the surgery. I never realized how much it would change our sexual relationship for the better, it's so much more enjoyable for the both of us!
